Terms of Use
Last updated: 18 September 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Oxyloop for using Foxling. They cover what the app is, what it is not, how subscriptions work, and how to end one.
Agreeing to these terms
By downloading or using Foxling you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Foxling.
What Foxling is
Foxling is a set of short cognitive games and a record of how you did at them. It gives you a daily session, scores each round, and shows how your scores move over time.
It works without an internet connection. Your training history is kept on your device and, if you have an account, backed up to our servers.
What Foxling is not
Foxling is not a medical device, and it is not a diagnostic tool. It does not detect, diagnose, treat, prevent or monitor any medical or psychological condition, including dementia, ADHD or cognitive decline.
Scores measure how you did at these games. We do not claim that improving them improves your memory, attention, intelligence or performance at work, school or anything else in daily life. The evidence that brain-training transfers to everyday ability is limited and contested, and we will not tell you otherwise.
Where the app compares your score to other players, that is a comparison against people who happen to play this app. It is not a clinical norm and means nothing about your health.
If you are worried about your memory or concentration, speak to a doctor. Do not use this app instead of medical advice, and do not delay seeking it because of anything the app shows you.
Your account
You can play without an account. If you create one, keep access to the email address or sign-in provider attached to it — it is how you get back in.
You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at [email protected] if you think someone else is using it.
You can delete your account at any time from Account in the app, or at https://foxling.oxyloop.com/delete-account. Deletion is permanent and takes your training history with it.
Subscriptions
Foxling is free to use and needs no account. Free includes the daily session, your streak, every game, offline play, each game’s practice round, every level up to the free top of each game — the first third of its ladder — and the last 7 days of your history.
Foxling Plus is an optional subscription, monthly or annual. It adds every level of every game above the free top, and all of your history rather than the last 7 days.
Subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple or Google, not by us. The price, the billing period and any free trial are shown in the app before you buy, in your own currency.
Subscriptions renew automatically. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends, it renews and your account is charged the price shown at purchase.
If a free trial is offered, it becomes a paid subscription when it ends, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before then; cancel in time and you are not charged. Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
Two days before a free trial ends we remind you — a notification on your device and, if your account has an email address, an email. The reminder is a courtesy, not a condition: the trial becomes a paid subscription on the day shown when you started it whether or not a reminder reaches you — with notifications turned off, say, or the email in a spam folder.
Cancel at any time in your Apple or Google account settings — the app links you straight there from Manage plan. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not refund the period you are in, and Plus stays open until that period ends.
When Plus ends, your account goes back to Free and nothing is deleted. Rounds older than 7 days are kept and shown again if you subscribe again, and levels you reached above the free top stay on record but can only be played with Plus.
Refunds are handled by the store you bought from, under its own policy. We cannot issue them.
If we change the price, you will be told before it takes effect and asked to agree.
Apple and Google
These terms are between you and us, not between you and Apple or Google.
Apple and Google are not responsible for the app or its content, and have no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for it.
If the app fails to conform to any warranty, you may tell Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price if applicable. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation at all in respect of the app.
Apple and Google are not responsible for addressing any claim by you or a third party relating to the app, including product liability, any failure to conform to a legal requirement, or a claim under consumer protection or privacy law.
Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
You confirm you are not in a country subject to a US Government embargo or designated as terrorist-supporting, and are not on any US Government prohibited-party list.
Using the app properly
Do not try to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the app or our servers.
Do not reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code, except where the law expressly allows it.
Do not falsify scores, automate play, or interfere with anyone else's use of the service.
We may suspend or end access to an account that does any of these.
Our content
Foxling, its games, artwork, characters, sounds and text belong to Oxyloop and are protected by copyright. You get a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app; you do not get to copy, sell or redistribute any part of it.
Your training history is yours. Nothing here gives us ownership of it.
Ending this agreement
You can stop at any time by deleting your account and removing the app.
We may end or suspend your access if you break these terms, or if we stop offering the app. If we shut the service down we will give reasonable notice and a way to export your data first.
Warranties and liability
The app is provided as it is. Beyond what the law requires, we do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will produce any particular result.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot legally be limited.
Otherwise, and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
If you are a consumer, you keep all the rights your local consumer law gives you, and nothing here takes them away.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top changes, and we will tell you in the app before any change that materially affects you. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept them.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of France, and its courts have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer elsewhere, you may also bring proceedings in your own country, and the mandatory consumer protections there still apply to you.
